The optimism of Hungarian employees is at the pre-epidemic level, BNP Paribas Cardif said, based on a joint labor market research with Medián, writes hrportal.hu.

According to the announcement, the BNP Paribas Cardif Labor Market Stability Index was 78 points in the first quarter of 2022, a three-point increase from the same period last year.

Optimism has gradually risen from its low point in the early spring of two years ago, with 72% of workers not worried about losing their job within a year, the statement said.

Some 42% of respondents said their household could survive up to three months if the primary earner lost their job, with 17% saying it could last less than a month and 23.5% saying it would last more than a year.
