At the same time, the name of the firm will change to Hegymegi-Barakonyi and Fehérváry Baker & McKenzie Law Firm.
Fehérváry is a highly qualified lawyer specializing in corporate law and domestic and cross-border M&A matters, with significant experience in employment law. His practice focuses on the oil and gas, automotive, energy/renewables, technology, and pharmaceutical industries. Over the years, he has led a number of landmark transactions in Hungary and the CEE region.
The newly appointed managing partner started his legal career in 1997 as a junior lawyer at Baker McKenzie. During his career, he has played a key role in the firm's innovation and business development initiatives. As co-head of the corporate and M&A group in Budapest and head of the employment practice, he has earned high recognition in both business and professional circles and is listed as a leading expert in the recognized legal rankings. He is also the co-head of the firm's China client services practice.

Hegymegi-Barakonyi, outgoing managing partner, commented on the change, "After nine years, I am delighted to hand over the leadership of the firm to a colleague who has earned the full trust of the partners based on his work and performance.
