Nextent-led consortium wins over HUF 600 mln in EU R&D funding

A consortium led by Hungaryʼs Nextent Informatika has won HUF 608 mln in European Union funding for the development of a voice recognition system, Nextent told state news wire MTI.

Nextent, together with Xdroid, SCI-Hálózat and the University of Szeged, plans to sell the system to call centers. The EU funding will cover 70% of the cost of the project, which will be completed in 2020 and create 24 jobs.

Nextent had revenues of just under HUF 1 billion last year, public records show.
