New CEO at Co-Op Hungary retail chain
Lajos Csepeli has been appointed to new chairman-CEO of Co-Op Hungary at general meeting of the company on Friday. Co-Op Group's revenue reached HUF 530 billion in 2012, exceeding HUF 510 billion in 2011. The group has successfully taken over the control of 63 Match and Profi stores - according to the preliminary plans their overall turnover reach HUF 15 billion this year. "It is clear that the many business policy issues need to be rethinked in the changed market and economic environment to keep and further develop the positions Co-Op has already achieved," Csepeli said.
