From January to July, nearly HUF 80 million flowed into the company group’s coffers, a total of 40% more than the value of the same period last year.
The second highest monthly income from fines was HUF 13.3 million back in March 2020. This record was broken in July this year, with a total of HUF 15.2 million. The record amount collected in July this year includes a significant amount of late fees and interest, with the highest lump sum payment reaching HUF 148,000.
MÁV-Start’s debt collection group significantly increased its performance and collection efficiency compared to previous outstanding results.
In the first six months of the year, with the help of letter campaigns and outgoing calls, MÁV-Start employees already concluded more than 1,500 payment agreements with debtors accumulating claims against the railway company in order to settle their debts.
