Maserati showroom opens in Budapest
Wallis Motor Pest on Friday said it opened Hungary's first Maserati showroom and service center, in the capital. Managing director Péter Antal said annual sales of 50-70 Maseratis a year would be “realistic” in Hungary in the mid-term. The showroom is expected to draw buyers from other countries in the region as its closest peers are in Vienna and Prague, he added. At present, 1-5 Maseratis are sold in Hungary each year. Wallis Motor Pest, a member of the Hungarian-owned Wallis group, sells premium car brands. It sold 820 vehicles last year, generating revenue of HUF 7 billion.
