Kinstellar, which brands itself as Emerging Europe and Central Asia’s leading independent law firm, advised regional venture capital investor Hiventures Zrt. on its investment in Global Web Solutions Kft., a Hungarian company providing online HR services to SSCs, according to a press release the firm sent to the Budapest Business Journal.

“We are delighted to have advised Hiventures on this historic transaction, and to have been able to demonstrate our commitment to the Hungarian start-up ecosystem,” said Anthony O’Connor, partner at Kinstellarʼs Budapest office. “Technology investments are becoming increasingly dominant in the context of European M&A – our expertise in M&A and TMT ensures we understand the market evolution and can provide strategic advice to our clients, whether they be founders, corporates or investment funds such as Hiventures,” he added.

The parties signed the transaction documents on August 17. The Kinstellar team was led by O’Connor, and consisted of managing associate Ákos Mátés-Lányi, associate Ágnes Zsófia Szabó and junior associate Noémi Kalmár.

Hiventures is one of the largest venture capital investors in Central and Eastern Europe, according to the Kinstellar press release.

Global Web Solutions offers services ranging from operating job portals to organizing community events and parties and developing a cloud-based recruitment program called MagellanPass.

Producing journalism that is worthy of the name is a costly business. For 27 years, the publishers, editors and reporters of the Budapest Business Journal have striven to bring you business news that works, information that you can trust, that is factual, accurate and presented without fear or favor.
Newspaper organizations across the globe have struggled to find a business model that allows them to continue to excel, without compromising their ability to perform. Most recently, some have experimented with the idea of involving their most important stakeholders, their readers.
We would like to offer that same opportunity to our readers. We would like to invite you to help us deliver the quality business journalism you require. Hit our Support the BBJ button and you can choose the how much and how often you send us your contributions.
