Wizz Air to launch Budapest-Chișinău flights in March
Discount airline Wizz Air has announced a new route from Budapest to Moldova's capital Chișinău, according to a press release sent to the Budapest Business Journal.
The first flights between the two capitals will commence in March.
Following an agreement between Hungary and Moldova, Chișinău International Airport accepts all COVID-19 vaccines, provided that the passenger has received all necessary doses. Entry into the country is possible on the presentation of an immunity card. Failing this, a negative PCR test result no more than 72 hours after travel will exempt those seeking entry from quarantine, irrespective of the classification of the country of entry.
