The load factor fell due to disruptions from the Middle East geopolitical crisis and late adjustments related to Tel Aviv cancellations, the airline said.

Wizz Air also reported a 1.8% y.o.y. reduction in CO₂ emissions per RPK, bringing the figure down to 50.9 grams – reinforcing its position as one of the lowest-emission carriers.

On July 14, the airline announced a strategic refocus on its core markets, including the suspension of Abu Dhabi services from September 1. Wizz will resume flights to Tel Aviv on August 8, initially covering 10 routes across eight countries, with full service on 24 routes across 11 countries expected by mid-September.

The company also opened its first Romanian maintenance facility at Băneasa Airport and plans to expand its Central and Eastern European operations with a new base at Warsaw Modlin Airport in December and additional A321neo aircraft in Kraków, Katowice, and Skopje. Forty new routes were announced in July, over 30 of them from the CEE region.
