According to another website, aviationweek.com, the delivery changes to Wizz Air’s order book include deferring 88 A321neos into the early 2030s and converting 36 A321XLRs to A321neos.

The airline plans to slow its capacity expansion, projecting annual growth of 10-12% through the end of the decade. Aviation Week says the slower growth will only become visible in about a year, once the aircraft already committed for delivery have arrived.

The website added that the low-cost airline had reiterated its expectation that its entire flee t would be Airbus Neos by 2029, as previous generation A320s and A321s leave the fleet.

While Wizz Air reported a strong peak season with fewer delays and disruptions, it will continue cost-cutting efforts to minimize business risks and support sustainable, profitable growth.

The company shut down its Wizz Air Abu Dhabi unit and its Vienna base in September, shifting its focus to Central and Eastern Europe.
