In 2019, after Waberer sold the hauler business to private equity company Mid Europa Partners, he allowed it to use his name for just three more years.
In 2021, Mid Europa Partners parted with Waberer's and minority stakes in the company were acquired by several local investors, among them Waberer, who now controls a 20% stake in the company.
