Under the agreement, signed by state secretary Bálint Nagy and Austria's ambassador to Hungary, Alexander Grubmayr, Hungary's M80 could connect to Austria's S7 in 2025.
The cross-border connection will contribute to the improvement of the road network in Central Europe and boost Hungary's economic strength, the ministry said.
