U.K. nationals accounted for the largest number of passengers on commercial flights at 1,973,400. Italians were runner-up (1,600,100), followed by Germans (1,503,000).
Passenger numbers from countries in Asia reached 1,567,000, up 49% from 2022. Cargo volume at Ferenc Liszt rose 7% to 142,800 tonnes in 2023.
