Serbian retail trade, industrial production up in December
Serbian retail trade turnover in December was up by 22.7% year-on-year in current prices and up by an annual 11.2% in constant prices, according to figures released by the Central Statistical Office (SORS) on Monday.
Relative to 2020, retail trade turnover in 2021 was up by 15.9% in current prices and by 10.3% in constant prices, the Belgrade-based statistics agency said.
A separate report showed that the country's industrial production was up by 3.3% year-on-year in December.
On a seasonally-adjusted monthly comparison basis, industrial production increased by 0.7% in December following a rise of 0.8% in November.
For the full year, Serbia's industrial production increased by 6.3% year-on-year in 2021.
