Lidl creates 1,200 jobs over past year

To ensure the maximum food supply of Hungarian households and to support the competitiveness of the domestic economy, Lidl Hungary has created more than 1,200 new jobs nationwide over the past year, writes profitline.hu.
"Over the past year, our company has significantly expanded its workforce by more than 1,200 people, providing a secure livelihood for more than 8,500 people," said Judit Tőzsér, head of corporate communications at Lidl Hungary.
"As a result of the wage increase exceeding inflation during the financial year 2022, we will spend more than HUF 52 billion on wage costs, thus supporting the domestic economy," she added.
