Auchan Raises Floor Worker Pay 12.5%-21.3%

Auchan is raising the pay of floor workers at its stores between 12.5% and 21.3% from January 1, the French-owned supermarket chain said on Wednesday, according to a report by state news wire MTI.

Gross monthly pay will range between HUF 380,000 and HUF 539,000 for unskilled laborers. Skilled workers can earn up to HUF 630,000.

Auchan Magyarország's headcount averaged 5,817 in 2022, public records show.
