More than 500,000 doses of the COVID vaccine developed by Pfizer and BioNTech arrived in Hungary this week, the local unit of Pfizer said, according to napi.hu.

Pfizer Gyógyszerkereskedelmi said the latest shipment raises total deliveries of the Comirnaty vaccine to Hungary to more than six million doses.

"With regard to Hungary, Pfizer has reliably delivered COVID-19 vaccines on a weekly basis for half a year," the company said.

It added that more than 1.5 million doses of the vaccine had been delivered in the first quarter, which jumped to more than 4.5 million in the second quarter.
