Mészáros és Mészáros wins waterworks contracts

Listed holding company Opus Global said its construction unit Mészáros and Mészáros won several big waterworks project contracts, according to an announcement on the website of the Budapest Stock Exchange.
Mészáros és Mészáros won a contract worth net HUF 8 billion for a sewerage project in Szeged (170 km southeast of Budapest) and two contracts, worth a combined net HUF 23.3 bln, for drinking water network projects in Tatabánya (60 km east).
Opus and Mészáros és Mészáros are part of the business empire of billionaire investor Lőrinc Mészáros, who has grown enormously wealthy since Fidesz returned to power in 2010 and who is a key ally of Prime Minister Viktor Orbán.
