The ratio of those using brand services has dropped significantly from the 38% measured in 2008, most probably falling as the average age of cars on Hungarian roads grows, the survey noted.

Owners of vehicles older than 20 years take their vehicles to independent mechanics in 81% of cases, Medián data show, according to Hungarian news agency MTI. Owners of vehicles less than five years old take their vehicles to brand service centers in 64% of cases, the survey added.
