New Car Registrations in Hungary Fall Nearly 13% in November

The number of new passenger car registrations in Hungary dropped 12.6% year-on-year to 8,305 in November, news agency MTI writes, citing data compiled by the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association.

Hybrid electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles accounted for 52% of sales. Cars with gasoline engines made up 29% of sales and vehicles with diesel engines 12%.

Meanwhile, fully electric vehicles accounted for just 6% of sales.

For the period January-November, new car registrations dropped 3.7% to 99,743.
