The bonus, to be paid to all contracted laborers as well as staff at the plant, is part of a wage deal reached by management and unions in December.
The agreement includes a 17%-plus-7% wage increase and additional inflation-linked payouts.
More than 4,500 people work at the Mercedes-Benz plant in Kecskemet at present. "Several hundred" new hires will be made as the plant expands and adds lines for fully-electric models in 2023.
