This is the highest monthly y.o.y. growth rate in H1 as compared with May’s 10.1%, April’s 9.7% and March’s 10.7% increase according to unadjusted data, KSH noted.
June experienced a 1.8% growth month-on-month according to seasonally and calendar-adjusted figures. Industrial output saw a 9.4% year-on-year growth in H1.
Miklós Schindele, deputy department head at KSH, said vehicle manufacturing continues to play a key part in the positive output growth figure, although all areas in the manufacturing sector showed an increase.
