A recall of some B-Class Mercedes-Benz models affects only few cars produced at the Daimler plant in Kecskemét, Mercedes-Benz Hungária Marketing and PR Director Edina Kozári Sztipich told MTI on Friday. The cars recalled are B-Class models with specific extras made between January and May last year, of which only few were made at the Kecskemét plant, she said. Daimler makes B-Class cars at its plants in Rastatt, Germany and in Kecskemét. Kozári Sztipich said that Mercedes-Benz dealerships in Hungary will inform clients and repair the cars free of charge. News portal Origo.hu reported that B-Class Mercedes-Benz vehicles with the Easy-Vario-Plus system were being recalled because of a problem with its rear seats, which can fold in a crash.
