Blue chip treasury shares little changed in October

The treasury share stocks of the Budapest Stock Exchange's four blue chip issuers changed only slightly in October, with the stock down slightly for OTP, up slightly for Richter, and unchanged for MOL and Magyar Telekom.

OTP had 3,601,347 treasury shares at the end of October, down slightly from 3,705,702 at the end of September. The treasury shares accounted for 1.29% of OTP’s registered capital compared to 1.32% a month earlier.

Drugmaker Richter had 376,420 treasury shares at the end of October, up slightly from 375,608 treasury shares at the end of September. The treasury shares accounted for 0.20% of Richter’s registered capital at the end of October, unchanged from a month earlier.

Oil and gas company MOL had 2,842,147 treasury shares at the end of October, unchanged from a month earlier. The treasury shares accounted for 2.72% of MOL’s registered capital at the end of the month.

Magyar Telekom had 390,862 treasury shares at the end of October. The treasury stock had been unchanged since the end of May. The treasury shares accounted for 0.04% of Magyar Telekom’s registered capital.
