Hungarian company inaugurates new plant in Ukraine
A unit of Hungary’s Dunapack Packaging is inaugurating a €38 million corrugated cardboard plant in Ukraine on Thursday, Austrian parent company Prinzhorn Holding said. The plant will have annual capacity of 150 million square meters. The Ukrainian unit, Dunapack Tavria, employs 100 people at present, but the number is expected to grow to 250 in 3-4 years, Prinzhorn Holding said. Prinzhorn Holding has two corrugated cardboard plants in Dunaújváros, 60 km south of Budapest. A large part of the feedstock for the Ukrainian plant is expected to come from Hungary.
