Henkel Hungary inaugurates investment, signs agreement with government
The Hungarian subsidiary of German household products manufacturer Henkel today inaugurated a hot melt adhesive production line at its plant in Tatabánya, according to reports. The company also signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Hungarian government.
The installation of the production line is expected to raise the number of workers at the plant by 30, to reach 150, according to reports. Henkel employs nearly 1,000 people at its plants across Hungary.
Last year, revenue of the local business exceeded net HUF 110 billion, Hungarian news agency MTI reported.
The agreement is the 68th such contract the government has signed with large companies operating in the country, MTI noted.
