FirstMed private clinic wins Best in Class award
Private medical clinic FirstMed clinched the Best in Class recognition at this yearʼs "Best of Budapest & Hungary" awards in the private healthcare providersʼ category, according to a press release sent to the Budapest Business Journal.

Founded in 1999, FirstMed won the accolade for the first time in its history, a prestigious prize for the services sector, after coming out on top in independent voting. The clinic collected the award on April 6, at the Gala Awards Ceremony of Best of Budapest & Hungary.
The awards, created by Budapest Week Publishing, were presented for the 26th time this year.
"We are happy that Best of Budapest & Hungary has become a real benchmark of the service sector in Hungary," said Péter Freed, owner and founder of the awards. "The jury of each and every award category is based on strict and transparent voting. This ensures that only those companies are to be awarded who consistently deliver high-quality service to their customers. Therefore, the awarded companies and their activities are in the spotlight and are being followed by the key players and opinion leaders of the sector."
"This prize may be the most important recognition of the last two decades of our existence, as it is based on the evaluation of our patients," said Dennis A. Diokno, founder and managing director of FirstMed. "It shows that there is serious demand in the private healthcare market for the values we stand for. Furthermore, it means that there is a clear need for private healthcare facilities in the market," he added.
