Emirates to offer first class on Budapest flights
Dubai-based carrier Emirates yesterday announced that it would upgrade its daily service to Budapest from a two-class to a three-class configuration, thereby becoming the only airline to offer a direct First Class service from Budapest.
The new configuration features 27 additional premium seats on its Budapest route, for a total of 54, with 12 in First Class and 42 in Business Class.
“This is another example of Emirates’ commitment to the Hungarian market and we are proud to be the only airline offering a First Class service in Budapest, allowing our passengers to experience Emirates’ refined First Class product to Dubai and beyond on our vast network of destinations in Africa, the Far East and Australasia,” said Gábor Horváth, Emirates’ Country Manager in Hungary.
The first Emirates flight offering exclusive First Class travel is scheduled to take off June 1, departing from Dubai International Airport and arriving in Budapest.
As with all Emirates flights, passengers on the Dubai to Budapest service will be eligible for a baggage allowance of 30kg in Economy Class, 40kg in Business Class and 50kg in First Class.
