Budapest's Municipal Court of Appeals will announce a second-instance decision on a case brought by Russia's Vnesheconombank against former national carrier Malév, the Hungarian National Asset Management Company (MNV) and other defendants on May 29, it was revealed after a hearing on Wednesday. Vnesheconombank is appealing a first-instance decision rejecting its case against Malev and MNV for selling the troubled airline's two ground handling units for a price the bank alleges was disproportionate. MNV acquired direct and indirect stakes in the units in October 2012. Malev was grounded in February 2012.
