Serbia saw record-high FX revenue from tourism in 2021

Serbian Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Tatjana Matić said the Serbian tourism industry had seen a record-high foreign exchange (FX) revenue of EUR 1.596 billion in 2021.
"The foreign exchange revenue in 2019, which was the best year for our tourism industry, was EUR 1.436 billion, which means that last year's revenue was higher by EUR 160 million," Matić told news agency Tanjug, quoting figures released by the National Bank of Serbia.
