Hungary, Serbia forge closer cooperation in tourism

The Hungarian Tourism Agency and the Serbian National Tourism Organisation on Wednesday signed a long-term cooperation agreement that aims to accelerate the recovery of the sector, according to a report by state news wire MTI.

Under the agreement, the two parties will organize joint programs and trips targeting markets in countries such as Russia and China, Hungarian Tourism Agency deputy head László Könnyid said.

Acting Serbian National Tourism Organisation director Marija Labovic said the two countries would support each other through an exchange of experience and cross-border initiatives.
