The number of employed people totaled 4,158 thousand between June and August. Out of these, 4,127 thousand were between 15 and 64 years old. The employment rate of that particular age group reached 62.4%, up 3.4% from the previous year.
The employment rate of people in the “best working age” – 25–54 years – has increased by 3% year-on-year, to 79.1%, KSH notes.
