Foreign tourist arrivals to Bulgaria jumps in Dec

The number of foreign tourists who visited Bulgaria in December rose by 92.4% year-on-year, reaching 475,100, the country's statistical office said on Friday.

Citizens of EU member states accounted for 41.9% of all arrivals of international visitors in the last month of 2021, the statistics agency said.

Citizens of Romania accounted for 38.4% of all visits of foreign tourists from EU member states, followed by Greece and Germany with 22.8% and 10.1%, respectively.
