The members of the association want, among other things, VAT reductions and wage and utility subsidies.

The association argue that the safe operation of the spas is not only in the interests of the workers there and the municipalities that own the majority of them but also of the national economy.

The spas cannot manage the eight- to 15-fold increase in energy prices, which is why they recommend a 27% VAT reduction for spa services, a wage subsidy based on the period during the COVID period, and the creation of a fund to compensate for the increase in energy costs, the report notes.
