Based in Kapuvár, west Hungary, Diadal is looking to invest Ft 100 million to expand capacity using mainly its existing production lines. While the company has declined to identify its prospective partners on the project, it said it expected to launch production with 50 new staff later this year.
Diadal, which currently does commission work exclusively to make women’s underwear for Germany’s Triumph, registered sales of just over Ft 1 billion last year, up from about Ft 920 million a year earlier.
