Become a New You Every Day at Sziget

In Budapest

We still have a little over 200 nights left until the first day of the Sziget, but on the festival's website, we can already plan the virtual 'route' that, by following it, allows us to dive into the diverse offerings of The Island of Freedom. Generate your personal itinerary 'based on every you' for the best days of your life on The Island of Freedom & win impressive prizes!

"The place where everything is free, but nothing is compulsory." This is the Sziget, which started with this motto more than 30 years ago and has remained what it is today: The Island of Freedom, as it is known around the world from New Zealand to Canada.

Sziget is the place where we are free to be ourselves and become who we want to be, where we are free to find each other in similarity and complement each other in difference, where we are free to be part of different cultures and free to show our own. Where nothing is compulsory, but every experience is different and unmissable. Sziget is a place where we are free to become our "new selves" every day. When we enter Sziget, we choose freedom and we get freedom of choice in return.

It's not easy to choose from such a wide range of experiences, but we can already start preparing for how to explore the Island of Freedom this August. The #FreeToBe route planner is ready, offering a unique, personalized experience for adventurous Szitizens. Whether we're concert enthusiasts, party animals, thrill-seekers, selfie champions, open to everything, fashion fanatics, circus lovers, admirers of world cultures, or anyone else, we can now discover where to head at Sziget.

Check it out here: www.szigetfestival.com/freetobe. And in 200 days, beyond the famous "K bridge" entrance, we'll experience it firsthand.

SUPPORT THE BUDAPEST BUSINESS JOURNAL

Producing journalism that is worthy of the name is a costly business. For 27 years, the publishers, editors and reporters of the Budapest Business Journal have striven to bring you business news that works, information that you can trust, that is factual, accurate and presented without fear or favor.
Newspaper organizations across the globe have struggled to find a business model that allows them to continue to excel, without compromising their ability to perform. Most recently, some have experimented with the idea of involving their most important stakeholders, their readers.
We would like to offer that same opportunity to our readers. We would like to invite you to help us deliver the quality business journalism you require. Hit our Support the BBJ button and you can choose the how much and how often you send us your contributions.
