The first in the series, Unicum's live session video, shot with Bagossy Brothers Company, the band performs three of their songs in the Gerbeaud Confectionery, providing an exceptional opportunity for the audience to hear the band's latest song, "Ünnep", alongside previous favorites in this extraordinary production.

Unicum says that the sessions draw parallels between musical talent and liquor making, as both creative processes require a high level of expertise and dedication. By excluding any artificial, mechanically generated sound or effect, the concept puts talent first. The performers also reported that no similar platform existed in this country, as the acoustic live format was essentially linked to the live performance, while the sound recording was linked to the recording process.

"We've always liked to take our songs a little outside of our comfort zones, and the Gerbeaud milieu immediately felt like it added a new color and flavor to our songs and what we were saying. Even for us, they mean something different in this form. It's a special challenge to leave not only the album version but also the concert version behind and create something fresh live," said László Bagossy, the band's bass guitarist.

"We did a lot of brainstorming in preparation and slightly reworked the three songs, tailoring them to Unicum Akusztik. The most exciting thing about recording a live broadcast is that, unlike the music video, the result is born in the here and now," he added.

In the confectionery, they performed the crowd favorite "Visszajövök", as well as their song "Fújj Meg Szél", originally a collaboration with the band Parno Graszt, performed here without them. They also saw the recording as a premiere of sorts, as they played the title track of their recently released Christmas album, "Ünnep".

"We've had this feeling of Christmas in us for a very long time, and we've tried to do similar songs. Now we've written a song called 'Ünnep', for which we've made a whole Christmas album. It's a kind of a sneak peek from us to the audience," says Norbi Bagossy. "It was a fabulous interaction: Gerbeaud, Unicum, and the song really suited each other."

"The Unicum Akusztik is a great format to draw attention to the value of real performance by drawing parallels between musicians with serious expertise and the expertise of Unicum. At the same time, we can create something new and important through great acoustic music productions," said Sándor Zwack, chairman of the board of Zwack Unicum Nyrt.
