UNICEF Hungary is organizing a youth climate summit for the second time on October 7 under its Climate Heroes program, according to the conservative daily newspaper Magyar Hírlap.
The program's goal is for young people to get authentic information about climate change, to express their opinions, and to have a personal say in decisions affecting their future, according to UNICEF Hungary.
The event will be held in Budapest, at the Eötvös 10 Cultural Center, with the participation of specialists, representatives of the business world, and well-known media figures and opinion leaders.
This year, the speakers at the conference will focus on adapting to the effects of climate change.
