New Generation Internet Forum 2023 Coming in November

Conferences

Registration is now open for the NGI Forum 2023, a hybrid conference taking place in Brussels on 15-16 November.

The event will bring together innovators, policymakers, researchers, and industry leaders to explore the future of the internet and will focus on the concept of the digital commons, enabling equitable access to information, stimulating innovation, and strengthening digital sovereignty.

The European Union's NGI (New Generation Internet) initiative was set up to support open-source projects to transform the internet in a people-centered way. The NGI Forum 2023 will cover a number of high-priority topics, including digital identity, quantum internet, large language models, web search, decentralized social media, and open-source supply chain security - all of which are important pillars of Europe's digital transformation and the future of the internet.

SUPPORT THE BUDAPEST BUSINESS JOURNAL

Producing journalism that is worthy of the name is a costly business. For 27 years, the publishers, editors and reporters of the Budapest Business Journal have striven to bring you business news that works, information that you can trust, that is factual, accurate and presented without fear or favor.
Newspaper organizations across the globe have struggled to find a business model that allows them to continue to excel, without compromising their ability to perform. Most recently, some have experimented with the idea of involving their most important stakeholders, their readers.
We would like to offer that same opportunity to our readers. We would like to invite you to help us deliver the quality business journalism you require. Hit our Support the BBJ button and you can choose the how much and how often you send us your contributions.
