Awards were presented in five main categories — small, medium, large, and giga enterprises, as well as nonprofit organizations — alongside several special jury prizes honoring outstanding initiatives. The project’s primary goal this year was to expand participation among companies not only striving for their own success but also shaping the economy and society of the future. Altogether, participating organizations represented 610,000 employees, up from 430,000 last year. From 137 submitted entries, 88 were shortlisted.

“The close connection between productivity and workplace well-being is one of the key factors in developing future strategies that promote retention, recruitment, and business success through a happy, satisfied, and healthy workforce,” said Zsuzsa Mihalik, founder of the BeneFit Prize, in her opening speech.

She added that while the culture of well-being often remains a slogan or a general health initiative delegated to HR departments to manage tactically, genuine well-being is more than just a “program” or a “trend.” “It should be a mindset, an ethos — a cultural direction — because a happy employee is a good employee,” emphasized Mihalik.

The BeneFit Prize was established in 2019 by All You Can Move (AYCM) in cooperation with the nonprofit association Humánpolitika.com. The comprehensive award program provides companies with the opportunity to showcase methods, initiatives, and employee benefits that demonstrate their commitment to supporting staff well-being. The competition also aims to encourage knowledge-sharing, education, and mutual inspiration, as well as to foster future collaborations among like-minded organizations.
