Hungary Picks 'Four Souls of Coyote' for Oscar Consideration

Director Áron Gauder's animated feature "Four Souls of Coyote" has been picked as Hungary's submission for consideration for nomination in the international feature film category at the 96th Academy Awards, the National Film Institute (NFI) said on Friday, according to a report by state news wire MTI.
The film, an epic adventure tale of the Native American creation myth with an environmental message, has taken top prizes at the Annecy International Animated Film Festival and the Shanghai International Film Festival.
Animation studio Cinemon Entertainment made the film with support from the NFI.
France's Gebeka International has purchased foreign distribution rights for "Four Souls of Coyote".
