The city reports that the program aims to deliver substantial energy savings and lay the groundwork for future large‑scale renovation efforts, offering each participating building a tailored upgrade plan based on technical conditions, resident needs and financial capacity.

Additional areas, including Districts XIV, XX and XIX, could still join, expanding the reach of the initiative.

The pilot currently renovates 10–12 buildings per year, focusing on insulation, window replacement and heating modernization, and the collected technical and financial data will form the foundation of a long‑term national strategy.

Officials say this knowledge base will help condominiums use future development funds more efficiently to boost energy performance.
