The platform compares the daily prices of products in 62 groups at the country's biggest supermarket chains: Aldi, Auchan, Lidl, Penny, Spar, and Tesco.
The ministry said the price of green peppers had fallen close to 37%, while tomato prices had dropped 25% and egg prices were down more than 27%.
The price-monitoring platform could reduce food prices by 1.8 percentage points and cut headline inflation by more than 0.5 percentage points, the ministry said.
