The net asset value of Hungarian investment funds stood at HUF 28.757 tln at the end of August, up from HUF 25.247 tln a year earlier.

Price changes added HUF 151 bln to net asset value during the month, while exchange rate movements contributed a further HUF 16 bln.

Fixed-income funds held the largest net assets at HUF 7.838 tln, followed by real estate funds at HUF 5.444 tln and venture capital and private equity funds at HUF 5.217 tln.

Derivatives funds had net assets of HUF 4.500 tln, while equity funds held HUF 3.128 tln.

The MNB supervised 992 investment funds in August.
