In a video post, Nagy emphasized that generational change is vital to the competitiveness of Hungarian agriculture.

The program, titled “Generational Renewal with the Support of Farm Transfer,” is co-financed by the European Union and forms part of the Common Agricultural Policy. It complements the ministry’s broader efforts to facilitate generational turnover in the sector.

The minister noted that the aim is to ensure uninterrupted farm operations during and after the transfer process.

The grant supports the complete handover of farm operations, including related support entitlements, obligations, and relocation activities.
