Decisions were taken to award 21,228 applicants a combined HUF 86.6 billion of subsidies, with the average award reaching more than HUF 4 million.
Subsidies of HUF 47.7 bln have already been transferred to winners and solar panels with a combined capacity of 71 MW and batteries with a capacity of 114 MW have been completed.
Under the year-long scheme, households could apply for up to HUF 5 mln in support, covering two-thirds of investment cost, until January.
More than 300,000 homes in Hungary have solar panels. Solar power capacity in the country stands over 8,000 MW.
