Swiss building materials maker Holcim’s permit to operate a cement factory in the Hungarian city of Lábatlan has been extended by the authorities until 2016, the company’s communications partner said on Wednesday.
Holcim employs more than 500 people at cement, concrete and aggregates plants around the country. It’ combined revenue in Hungary exceeded HUF 24 billion in 2010.
