Győri was the former head of legal affairs for the Prime Minister’s Office during the previous term.
According to reports, Modern Media Group is set to become the central body responsible for the emerging new Fidesz-friendly media empire and will replace the role once held by media mogul Lajos Simicska, who recently had a public falling out with his long-time friend, Prime Minister Orbán.
The headquarters of the new company are located at the same address as Századvég, the government-friendly research firm. The chief executive of the company is Péter Keresztesi, the current CEO of Napi Gazdaság Kiadó and Marketing, PR and Communications Director of Századvég group, according to napi.hu.
