The deal, signed by Minister of Economic Development Márton Nagy and Georgian Deputy Prime Minister Levan Davitashvili, focuses on cooperation in digitalization and the application of industry 4.0 and 5.0 technologies, as well as the use of artificial intelligence, Big Data, 5G networks, blockchain and drone technologies.
It also extends to cooperation in bus and rolling stock production, the pharmaceutical industry and medical equipment manufacturing.
The parties aim to boost bilateral trade between Hungary and Georgia, which stands close to USD 90 million at present, the ministry said. Nagy met one-on-one with Davitashvili during a two-day joint cabinet meeting in Georgia.
