Vietnam plans to continue importing pharmaceuticals from Hungary, while Hungary is ready to support Vietnamʼs plans to start manufacturing active ingredients.
Hungary plans to give a loan for the construction of a 500-bed hospital. It would also help Vietnam build a registry of the population. Some 16 Hungarian companies and 150 Vietnamese entrepreneurs participated at a business forum held in Hanoi after the committee meeting. Hungarian exports to Vietnam reached a new record last year, rising 43% to $85.2 mln.
